14,000 new Border Patrol Agents sounds good, but why does it take 6 years to get them. If this “Comprehensive” Immigration bill is going to solve all our immigration problems, why would we need the new agents 6 years from now. We need the new agents NOW. This looks like more smoke and mirrors to me. Promise more agents 6 years from now but don’t provide any funds for them so you can blame it on someone else when it doesn’t happen. If they were really serious about border enforcement this bill would provide funding for at least half the agents the first year.
